Neverwinter Nights 2 OC

Prior to getting the keep, I was finding ore deposits & clicking on them & it said I found ore, but now that I need it, I can't use those ones I already found & my men only have basic weapons & armor.
Is there more ore in Act II, if so where is it?
Shouldn't I be able to tell the miners about the ore I already found previously?

Yes, assuming you've recruited them already, and they're at your keep, you should be able to tell Pentin and/or Calindra about the ore you previously found in the earlier parts of the game, and they should go off to collect it. They should collect all of the ones you already knew about in one trip. When they return, they give you gold and you can upgrade your gear. Is that not happening?

There's more ore to find all throughout Act 2. Whenever you find a new location, explore it before you leave, because some places can only be visited once.

What touched is saying is that you can only discover and report each deposit once. Don't worry, though. There's plenty to be found. You can miss a couple deposits and still fully outfit your Graycloaks.

I think I had found 5 or 6 lots (including Act I), but when I got the miners to the keep, they only paid me for 1 lot each & then said I have to find more.


While your there:
I just got a blessing of protection (from the purification ceremony) & it said I can activate it from the drop down box.
Where is the drop down box?

1. Are you sure they only paid for one, or could they have paid for all of the ones you found in one sum?

2. The smiths are the ones that handle your gear upgrades. Did you check with them after the miners got the ore?

3. I don't know what dropdown box they're talking about. You access the blessings from the Feats tab of the Character sheet. You can drag the icon to your hotbar for easier access.

I may have got paid for all, I can't remember how much I got.
But when I went to the smiths I got the first basic weapons & armor & after that they said I need more ore & going back to the miners, they tell me I have to find more.

There are 15 total ore deposits. You can upgrade weapons 3 times, and armor 4 times. Some upgrades take more ore, some less.

One other thing to note is that certain upgrades/changes in the keep require you to leave the area and then come back before you'll get new options or see the effects of choices.

Well I had found more than I had realized, because I had the first 8.
I have come & gone many times & have rebuild the keep except for the chapel & tower ( I can't find the option for those)
But there should still be enought ore left to get the gear.
I just didn't want to send them out on patrol with basic weapons & armor.
