Chabara: It may be that I simply don't understand, but how can I set the game to run full-screen? In reviewing posts from GoG and contributors, I found one needed to access the "display" option at startup. I don't see it. Please help. Very difficult to play and about 5 X 8 inches.
Hi, I don't understand either. Am fairly new to both Windows 7 and this downloading business. Managed to install NWN o.k. I think, but like you can't get full screen. Just about 4 x 4 inches on my 17 inch screen so need magnifying glass! Need someone to give me an idiot guide I think.

Hope you find an answer and can post it.

What graphics card have you got?
What is your screens native resolution & refresh rate?

Hi, thanks for your reply to my post. My clever grandson told me how to alter the resolution so I can now play it widescreen. Super!

Hi, I said if I found a simple answer that I could understand I'd post it. My grandson told me the following:
"Old games sometime have that issue where it doesn't detect your newer hardware so puts the game at low resolution (small screen).
Go into the options menu, there should be some sort of settings, and under video settings there should be 2 details you should change:
1st- tick fullscreen mode (or tick run in window)
2nd- set resolution to 1920 x 1080 this will run it at maximum resolution."

I couldn't find anything like the 1st option, but in the video settings was the resolution options. Once I had set and applied it, the game ran fullscreen. At first you don't think it has because all the things like choosing a character, etc, are still quite small in the middle of the screen, but when it starts properly i.e. campaign and prelude, it then goes fullscreen.
Hope this helps. My grandson knows he has to keep things simple for me as although my working-life grew up with computers (first ones I remember were cabinets against the wall with a roomful of girls punching cards to put information in them) since I retired and no longer keep up with new developments I have to have things explained at XP level.
Happy gaming

Well, Still no good with the posted solutions. Still no wide (full) screen. Nvidia GS 250 card that runs beau-coup games right up to the past year when they started coming out with those that require more shaders, etc. SO, many thanks to all those that have submitted problem solvers, but ............. anything else that might work >>> ??

What scaling options do you have in the Nvidia Control Panel?

Select perform scaling on GPU, and override scaling set by games See Pic
