I've been at this for 5 hours.

Trying to host a NwN2 game with someone trying to direct connect.

I've changed my 'hosts' file.
I've installed Tunngle and attempted to run the game through it.
I've downloaded the client extender and tried running through it.
I've tried running the client extender's launcher through Tunngle.
I've tried every possible combination of my actual IP and Tunngle's virtual IP.

Every. Single. Goddamn. Time.

"Attempting to find server"
"IP = ##.##.##.##:5121 [or 11155 with Tunngle]"
"Connection Error: Server is not responding"
"Timed out"

My friend who has never played is trying similar options on his end for hosting, all fail.

Who do I have to eviscerate and throw into the pits of hell for this to work? Can anyone just make a guide that works?
Make sure that the ports (UDP, not TCP) are open in both software (Windows Firewall etc.) and in your router. Also be sure to select an internet game, not LAN.
