Just wondering if it's possible to somehow run NWN on a mac? I really want to play through the series again but all I have is my macbook air.

I've heard of wineskin etc. but will that work for this game? If so, can someone point me to a guide?

Can't point to a guide, but yeah it's possible in two ways.

1. If you have 10.6. or older, you can merge the old mac version demo and PC install files to create a working mac NWN.
(might be you need an installed PC version, not just the installers)

2. Wineskin works and probably better & easier than the 1st solution.

(of course, installing windows on bootcamp partition also works)

If you have an even remotely new Mac it has an intel chipset and I'm pretty sure it can be dual booted with a Windows install. This will give you access to the full PC game including the premium mods (which use windows installers) and the toolset (which the mac version of the game does not include), as well as any other PC exclusive titles you might want to run on your Mac.

Edit... Ugh... NM. Looks like that's already been suggested. That's what I get for leaving my window unrefreshed overnight.

Hi, I was just wondering is any one else stuck with zipped .bin files after downloading parts 2 and 3 of the 3 part download and how did they open these files? I am not tech savvy and can not figure this out.. I've installed from the 1st part of the download, using crossover and it works fine, and not sure why I can't access the other two files? Any help would be appreciated!

I need to save .hak files in the nwnmain.exe files and can't find them anywhere.

Am I just blind?
