So always loved NWN2 and wanted to give it a go again, but as soon as I set the resolution to a better one 1080p or higher the game does just that but puts itself into a windowed mode where I cant click anything and then crashes, anyone else have had this happen?

Setup:
Windows 10
Intel(R) Core i7-7700 CPU 3.60GHz
32 GB ram
GFX card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080

Had a similar issue with the steam version where I tried to set it to 1920x1080 and it would immediately crash. After some searching I found that you can set the resolution in the nwn2.ini file, (located here: My Documents > Neverwinter Nights 2 > nwn2.ini ) and under [Display Options] you just enter the resolution you want.

Or you can press Alt & Enter to change into windowed mode, make the changes and then Alt & Enter back to fullscreen.
From then on it should start alright in fullscreen.

The error log is still in there, Gog just wont let me attach it and it doesn't seem to send with it copied and pasted, so if anyone knows about changing .exe or .dll or whatever you have to do, and they want to try to fix it, just PM me.

Man Nylon_Pine after fighting with NWN2 for the past hour installing DirectX SDK's and just about everything else except the kitchen sink....It finally worked in NOW beautiful 1920x1080!!!
