Anyone have some PvE-focused good persistent world recommendations with modern MMORPG style mechanics (or at least something resembling them)?
RP quality is largely irrelevant.

Preferences:
PvP disabled, no friendly fire
PvE focused, solo or small groups
RP optional rather than required
(most important) new classes and mechanics remade as much as possible to resemble modern MMORPG mechanics. I'm willing to download and install custom content packs, as long as they are available as a non-executable archive.
Active dev team; frequent upgrades, new content, and patches
