not yet. I guess I could find the save folder and move it and then remove the game and install it again then move the save file back. I like just started this character and do not want to restart another character this soon.

TheKingPossum: running the DX set up did not help in the least. I guess I am putting this game aside till I can figure out what is wrong with it.

please keep coming with ideas as I have enjoyed this this game aside from the freezing.

WingsOfRequiem: did you try reinstalling the game? like completely removing it then downloading and installing it again?

I was just about to suggest re-downloading setup files and installing again "without Galaxy". Then before moving your save games, start a new random game and see if the problem continues because save games may also be the problem. You can then move your save games normally.
