Hi,

I just started a Mask of the betrayer campaign using a ranger 16, frenzied berserker 2.

when i opened my spellbook, i had up to lvl 4 spells to choose from, but only 4 x lvl 1 slots and 2 x lvl 2 slots ?

i've restarted and the game but no difference.

That's a rather unusual number of spell slots. Four 1st level spell slots is perfectly normal (if not a little high) for a 16th level Ranger, but only two 2nd level slots seems abnormally low.

What's your wisdom score? Have you taken the Practiced Spellcaster feat or the Extra Spell Slots feat?

The spells slots avaliable to character with 16 rangers levels are: 2 (1th) 2 (2dn) 1(3th) 1(4th)
If your wisdom is not high enough (By example only 14) you don't get extra spells for 3th and 4th level spells.

if your Wisdom is lower than 14 then you don't get all the spells, in this case, probably you only has 12 in Wisdom, which give you access to level one and two.
