Posting this because:

1. Kikoskia is the Let's Play champ. The man.
2. It's NWN so it's interesting.
3. It gives a clear idea of what kind of game NWN is, for potential purchasers and newbies.
It's obviously just me, but i really dislike people who read the text out-loud in make up voices, or go on with obnoxious jokes. A rather irksome problem of mine is that I love LPs, but am so particular about what i can tolerate from an actual player that there are only a few people I enjoy.

NintendoCapriSun and Argonmatrix being among the best. Low key with their dialogue, and they definitely make the game the focus.

Im filming (slowly) my playthrough of HoTU with the intention of doing an LP for it and I definitely am trying to take note of big do's and dont's.

Certainly not.

I'd guess there are several dividing lines, crossing of which makes the LP unwatchable for a whole bunch of people. Like... I couldn't watch the pure gameplay with only game sounds, but that's exactly what some people want from LP.

Spoony is one other extreme, filming himself half of the time and not really doing LPs at all.
Kikoskia is the shit. Been watching him for a while now. The only thing that's annoying is that I'm currently playing through the OC so once I hit SoU, there won't be any surprises since I'll already have seen them., heh.

Like Jarmo, I think the point of an LP is to listen to the player's remarks. Certainly would be odd if the text part was silent and in the middle of reading, the LPer goes on. A LP with just game sounds might as well just be a gameplay video. Besides, Kiko's voice acting is awesome.

I also like Necroscope86 and possibly Helloween4545, but I haven't seen too many of their LPs to solidify that opinion.
