I can't seem to make the dragon wings appear when I hit L9 as a Red Dragon Disciple.

I know that they don't appear in NWN2, that's not the issue. I'm talking about NWN1 here.

I remember making more than one NWN character with them but now it doesn't work for me.

I am seeing the shadow for the wings, but not the wings themselves.

I have tried google multiple times, all to no avail.

Any sincere help will be genuinely appreciated.

Does your character wear any cloak?

Sorry for late reply - nope, also tried it with all armour and items removed from the character.

Also my cloaks aren't showing on any of my characters either. I'm guessing it's a backslot issue.

Your reply made me think of searching for 'cloaks not appearing' instead of 'RDD wings not appearing' - apparently, the issue is driver-related and I'm supposed to either roll my drivers back or update them. I tried both and it didn't work.

Did you try the resolution change trick or going through several area changes?

I tried changing the resolution, but that didn't help. I can see cloaks, but I can't see the Red Dragon wings in my GOG Diamond Edition NWN. I'm playing Hordes of the Underdartk.

Have you got Deakin in your team? [spoiler] He sprouts wings. Do his wings appear (assuming you have him)?
