My NWN diamond resolution does set to 1920x 1080 but when I do this the about an inch of the screen is missing on all sides, cannot fathom why its not a monitor adjustment issue, any advice?(anything over 1280x 1024 does this)
Same issue here, Windows 8.1, GTX 770, any of the higher resolutions give small letterbox graphics. The resolution is correct, so it is not windowed mode, just the graphical output is much smaller. Tried different compatibility modes and various settings in game and in nwn.ini, nothing changed.
Are you guys actually trying the game or stopping at the menu screen?

The Menu screens and intro video do not scale. The higher the resolution, the smaller those screens get.

But once you play the game, it fully uses whatever resolution you set it to.

I have played NWN for more than a decade on everything from my old CRT when I got it, to a 30" 2560x1600 LCD at native resolution. It supports just about any resolution and aspect ratio.

Take a look at this video. It starts with character creation menus which are small and centered, but fast forward into the actual game and you will see it uses the full screen:

There is solid mod Here
That increases size of UI elements

Right click. Go to properties. Find "compatibility" (I have windows 10, so it's a tab, but I just did a search and it said windows 8 has the same option somewhere). Check "Disable display scaling on high DPI" (Your GPU does this already).

Enjoy game.

You're welcome.

This is it. I had the problem that my screen would show up centered, but all the interaction would still happen in the bottom righthand corner, which made the game unplayable.
Disableing the display scaling on high DPIdid wonders.

Thanks!

Do you know how this can be done with the latest version of windows 10 (1903) because the option "Disable display scaling on high DPI" doesnt exist anymore.

Thanks
