I began playing Neverwinter Nights the other day, and noticed a peculiar thing. In the character customization page, I noticed that whenever I try to change the hair and skin color from anything other than white skin and blonde hair (the default), the character turns chrome. This happened several times, so I just started the game as a White dude w/ dreadlocks. Anyone have a clue as to why?

Yeah, happens to everyone. Go to this link and download the critical update. That should fix your problem.
