Seriously, I am yet to find a nice item in a random chest...

It is getting really annoying, that after every boss enemy, I end getting ale, 10 coins, darts, arrows, or some other stupid useless item.

I have impression that chest rewards are random.

Also I have impression that the random generator suck, and can generate ANY item in the game, from useless to good.

Also I have extreme bad luck, and always end with useless, or armour.

I ended cheating and getting a couple bags of holding, because it was the only way I found to lug around stuff to get enough gold to buy basic equipment, because I found about 10 armours in a row that even when magical were shitty (ie +1, total AC below 6, and no other special effect). And by 10 amours in a row, I mean, I opened 10 chests, and each of them had some random armour... (this was in the chapter 1, in the beggar district).

They are.

Pretty much. That said, I found the helmets tend to be of significantly better quality than other random loot. Not exactly sure why, maybe there are just more good helmets in the random loot tables?

Always buy out bags of holding. They're reasonably well-priced and incredibly useful. For characters who have gone through multiple adventures, it's not uncommon for me to have two or even three pages of my inventory filled with row upon row of magic bags.

If you don't find anything that suits your fancy, just sell it and buy something you do want. Belt of Giant Strenth and Gloves of Ogre Strength are a good combo, since they stack in NWN.

I am yet to find those for sale.

And I don't mind selling good stuff if I come across, my problem is that I keep getting stuff that is useless even to sell (like I mentioned before Ale, or extremely heavy, bulky and cheap items, like non-magical armour).
The random rewards a levelled to each chapter.
+2 armors are in chapter 2 & +3 armors become available in chapter 3.
