When I tried to push the button, it does not work. I only hear the sound, but the bridge cannot open.

I see there is no noclip cheat, so maybe somebody has got a save game for the next level (chapter 7)?

Hi, sorry for sort of necroposting, but just to tell you that you are not the only one! I had the same issue, and none of the switches activated the bridge. So I had to go on feet along the rails to proceed.

Unfortunately, it seems like the game is a little bug-prone, as in the last chapters the jumping pad is not activated by the mole wizard. That was game-braking actually.

I had this issue. It was annoying but reloading the save from the very beginning of the level fixed the issue. It sucks that you have to replay most of the level but the switch worked for me the second time. I enjoyed the 2nd half of the game so I'm glad I took the time to get through this bug.

I know its very late but if you use the unlimited health cheat "nvngod" no speech marks
save before hand and you can jump across the railings to get across
