I can see both Necrovision and Necrovision: Lost Company, so I guess it may well be a regional issue.

Yes region lock. It's on List B in Germany.

Fuck GOG.

Darklord666: Fuck GOG.
It's not GOGs fault. The BPjM is responsible for that.

Yeah, I know. But they were quite more flexible in the past and they could have tried to invoke a cancellation from the B list.

GOG can't do anything about it because they don't have the license rights for NecroVisioN.

How do you know? Could you explain? I'm very interested. :)

GoG only holds the rights the sell the game on the store, it would be up to the games publisher (1c publishing) to get off of List B.

So until 1C does that GOG cannot sell Necrovision to the german consumer base.

Only the company that has the license for the game (1C Publishing) is able to submit an application for de-listing NecroVisioN. If they don't do anything, nothing will change until another company purchases the license and approaches a de-listing or until it will automatically expire after 25 years (without another confirmation through a court during this period of time).
Schnapp dir nen VPN und hole es dir über eine nicht-deutsche IP... Wie immer halt. Im Gegensatz zu Steam ist das bei GoG kein Problem.
I assume this is because of the German censorrship laws?

Yes, it is.

Now I bought NV1 LV-Version on Steam (it's your fault GOG) and I use a common UCP. It works flawless. Uncut as meant to be. Hi hi.
Since we're here now and I can't post a new thread...would you say I should play Lost Company first? Because chronologically that's first...

IDK. I played NV1 first and much (I have it yet on DVD) and the sequel second and only 2 times I guess. The sequel is shorter then the 1st part but also good except minor flaws. So if it is chronologically before NV1 then I would play it first.
From the story I would say, it makes no big difference.
