When using a lower resolution than the native resolution of my display the game is diplayed only in a portion of the screeen instead of full-screen. This happens no matter what compatibility settings I change for the game (Scaling, Admin, OS and so on). If I change the Windows resolution beforehand, it works like one would expect. So my guess is that this issue is related to the scaling features of Windows 10.

System:
OS: Win 10 Pro 64bit v20H2
GPU: Intel IRIS Plus Driver Ver.: 27.20.100.9126 from Deecember 2020

Any ideas besides what I already tried to fix the issue?
