DaGobbo: At some point?!? I can't wait that long. Hate to have to buy this on steam though.
You do have a choice not to buy it on Steam.

The-Business: "Not today." Seems like GOG is negotiating.

Zacron: Then I guess I WILL be buying it twice. I love Cyan and GOG enough that I feel it is worth it.
Since the page for the next game from Cyan Worlds, Obduction (a new series that is a spiritual successor to Myst with the same cast as the original Myst), already states Obduction will be available on GOG, it seems GOG and Cyan Worlds are fairly friendly with each other, so I'd imagine the chance of the game coming here is very high.

LoL It's not GoG. It's Cyan. These chaps have a history of moving at their own pace. You're familiar with Valve? Yeah ... it's kinda like that. Cyan has no concept of time .

Hey There:

I am running Windows 7, DirectX 11, 8GB RAM, ATI Radeon 3100 GPU, 3GHz processor, many TB HD, and have RealMyst installed today. It goes for just a few minutes and then the screen freezes for some time, movews the cursor a tiny bit, stops, moves direction a bit, stops again. This when I move the mouse. Tried many settingsa in the RealMystSetup.exe and the display settings in Windows, have all of the latest Windows and graphics drivers.

Any ideas? I cannot play the game basically at all. Any help would be appreciated. THX!

Regards,

Bob Z.

What soundcard do you have?
My Creative soundcard drivers gets hiccups from time to time were my whole pc freezes in intervals. The only thing I can do to fix this is to restart it.

I had to run it in Win98 compatibility mode to stop the choppiness.
Getting just about the same thing, game starts out fine with 60 FPS until I look to the left, then it drops to an unplayable framerate under 10 FPS. I also have an ancient Pentium 4 with 2 GB of RAM, however my graphics card is a new ATI Radeon that I cant remember the model name of, but it surely came out in just about the end of 2012. But surely it is enough to handle a 2001 Myst game.
