With memories of Myst Riven many years ago I bought Myst Masterpiece. Unfortunately certain games in the past give me motion sickness and this one is bad. I looked online and saw a walkthrough that each step the next frame was immediacy rendered instead of the slide/walking motion.

This would really help me so I was wondering if there was an option I did not see to do this or was the walkthrough poster just saving time by doing this through an edit?
Thanks for any suggestions.

There's an option for "scene transitions" (off by default). The options menu didn't save the setting for me, but you can bring up another configuration window and toggle the options by pressing F5 in-game.
