Ya know how some viruses jump around detection? My antivirus scans without loading windows so they can't do that, and Myst 4 has a virus. Mal/Generic-S to be specific. And I checked multiple times, so it's not a false positive. soooo... kinda concerning.

LOL. Your AV or methods sucks. Maybe the Russians will hijack your Myst install and post fake news about Atris.

Check the big “unable to run Myst IV” topic. It IS a false positive, probably due to a remnant of whatever CD check the original used.

Changelog for Internal Hotfix (added 11 July 2018):

- [WIN] fixed a potential issue where MS Defender would falsely flag the main executable as malicious.

So try updating.
