Erm, why didn't the Warband patch (1.164) just include 1.163 and the other fixes, like 1.163 included the previous fixes. Glad I had gotten the patch from a few days ago, or I would have had to download the entire standalone again just for a small 7MB patch by the looks of it. :/

what makes you think it didn't? that makes no sense at all. 7 MB is not small just for a bunch of changes in the line of code.

Because the patch put out a few days ago was 17MB in size which was 1.163 + previous fixes, now 1.164 is only 7MB so it doesn't include the past fixes obviously. They must have uploaded a new standalone instead with all fixes included. Meaning if you didn't grab the 17 MB 1.163 update the other day, you need to re-download the entire standalone installer again to get this update because it can't be installed over an older installation without the 1.163 + previous fixes patch.

I just re-installed M&B Warband because I didn't have it installed. New patch wouldn't work with an older installer (installer released when Warband came to GOG) unless I used the 1.163 update first from a few days ago which is now not available since 1.164 has replaced it. It's just not really a significant enough update were they couldn't include all fixes in one patch instead of re-uploading a new standalone in my opinion, unless there was technical reason or something was done wrong which is why I'm asking.

the new patch doesn't work with the old 2.0.0 warband, no. I just found that out so had to redownload 2.1.0

That's all I needed to do to be problem free. You'll probably find that 2.1.0 has the 1.163 included already, that's why there might be some confusion.

Yea I know that was my point though, they could have just done a simple patch that included all the past fixes in a 20 or 30 MB patch instead of re-uploading a new standalone. Some people don't want to or can't download an entire game again. Wasn't a significant enough update for all of that. Lol.

When can we get our money back? Considering that the 1,01 patch not only ruined every save game but also stops you creating a new game, I would say its about time to admit that the game is fucked up and give us our money back.
Thank you for posting the changelog. A very convenient result for your copy/paste efforts.

Hetman: snip
Is the 1.165 patch for Warband coming soon to the GOG version?
