Hi,

I recently installed MR1 and MR2 and I can run them on my Windows10 lappy.

However, in MR2, even with using all of the '-alpha' related commands, I still get texture transparency issues. Mainly, the following:

- MR2 menu: Black boxes behind some of the buttons and the number 2 in the game's title;
- Lost Jungle level (example): All the trees and branches also display these black boxes.

The above issue really ruins MR2 playability. In MR1, just using the '-alpha' command is enough.

Is there a way to sort this issue with MR2?

Any help would be awesome. Thank you.

EDIT 1: Managed to fix it using dgVoodoo v2.53. Just configure it and copy to the Moto Racer 2 directory not only the 'dgVoodoo.conf' file but also the .dll files of the MS folder inside the dgVoodoo folder. However, used this technique with Moto Racer 1 and it always gives me the D3D "Not Enough Video Memory" warning and thus, can't play it using D3D. Any thoughts?

EDIT 2: HA! MR1 fixed! Saw the solution on a reply from a VOGONS forum user. Basically:

1) Create a dgVoodoo profile for Moto Racer 1 and, on the 'DirectX' tab, instead of the "dgVoodoo Virtual 3D Card", choose the "ATI Radeon 8500" option and put 256MB of VRam on it - you can ignore the other options. Save the profile;

2) Follow the steps already mentioned above (copying the dgVoodoo directX .dll files to the games directory);

3) Create a Shortcut to the games executable (game.EXE) using the following shortcut commands for the game "-d3d -alpha -CorrectRatioTextures -ZBuffer -nodither"(without the quotes) - Using GoG or Steam's shortcuts is very tiresome and unnecessary;

4) Run shortcut. Voilá.

Motoracer 2 is less complicated in order to set it up with dgVoodoo.

Thank you dgVoodoo and VOGONS forum user. :-)
