I don't get any sound in Mortal Kombat 1, pressing F10 brings up the options menu but there are no sound settings available.

In the Mortal Kombat 1 folder, I did use the setup configuration to select "Soundblaster" but I still do not have any sound or music in the game.

Can anybody help or had that problem and solved it?

I had the same issue with Mortal Kombat 2 (no sound or music at all) but in this case, pressing F10 to bring up the options menu and flipping the sound option did turn on the sound in the game but like I said, Mortal Kombat 1 does not have a sound option when pressing F10 for the options menu.

I am running Windows 10 x64.
See here what it says about CPU cycles and audio in MK1:

You can adjust cycles in the main .conf file directly.
