Sometimes, when re-stocking a sales slot too quickly, the preference book will not register a customer opinion. I.e. a customer will pick up an item and buy it, but with a frown. If you're quick, you can re-stock the slot while the customer is still looking at the item. However, the customer preference will then not be stored in your preference notes.

This only happens sometimes, but is annoying in any case.

the reason why it doesn't save is because the prefrences dont save until you actually sell the item or a luxurious person bought it. also restocking the slot before the customer actually picks it up has nothing to do with it because i use that trick all the time

No, price preferences update immediately once a customer picks up the item. I use the same trick all the time, which is why I noticed that it sometimes does not update the preference.

The fact that you did not notice this bug does not mean it's not there.
