Hi,

I have a Widescreen at home and the resolution doesn't fit in fullscreen mode. So I have the question if or how it's possible to play the game it in window mode. I couldn't find an option in the option menu but read about that possibility on several internetsites. I couldn't find a description how to do that.
This question / problem has been solved by giant_snarkimage
maybe you can try in games shortcut.. In the target field add: -window at the end.
Now I found out that it works by pressing Shift + F5.

On one internetsite I also found in the description which sais that the window can be made bigger or smaller by pressing Strg + Alt and the + or - buttons but somehow it doesn't work for me. :S

Thanks for this. I'm playing via WINE on a 64bit Xubuntu machine. In fullscreen the top half is always black, but it works great in windowed mode.
I just wanted to let everyone know that Shift+F5 successfully put it into a windowed mode for me on Windows 7, solving my aspect ratio problem on a high-res widescreen monitor. If the apparent window size is too small, you can also use the Windows Magnifier to zoom in and out without much trouble (press the Windows key and +/-).
Is there a way to get the game to startup in Windowed Mode automatically?

Update: It looks like the 2nd time the program runs it does remember to stay in windowed mode, but the window is very small at 640x480. Is there a mod to increase the resolution?
