Japanese record label Clarice Disc(division of City Connection) releases original game music and I found one of their games was Chūka Taisen. So it's the same music as in the Monkey King re-release. I bought/downloaded rounds 1-5 music. A lot of old game music sold online is very unfairly priced, you'll pay about $2 for a simple 3 second jingle. The stage themes in Chūka Taisen are only about a minute each, but I paid standard price, they're quite cute and melodic and, along with the graphics, I suppose part of the reason I was so quick to buy the Monkey King re-release.
It's unfortunate that it's so difficult to appreciate the graphics and music, because the gameplay is so demanding. I for one, would've appreciated the bonus content including a sound test menu or a folder with the sound/music as audio files.
By the way I think Chūka Taisen translates to "China Master" rather than "Cloud Master"(the name of the '89 Sega Master System port).
