(I have trouble posting links so search "Monkey Island 2" on the wishlist and you should find it)

The special edition is most likely coming to here soon so I added this wish so that GOG might notice it when they mark the other wishes as "completed"
What would you say is the difference between the floppy and the SE?

I'm not sure. I know that for the SE of Monkey Island 1 there were complaints about there not being a "stump joke" and something about the sun/moon in the harbor not changing. So I just have a feeling that the integrated classic version in Monkey Island 2 SE will not satisfy people for what ever reason.
The stump joke was removed in the CD version, also the inventory was updated to look like the one in MI2.

Having played both the floppy and SE of MI 2 I can't think of any substantial differences, and anyway the SE have the option of classical mode.

When MI 1 was released here, I had no idea of the changes made. I made this wish just in case people have similar complaints about this release because I don't know... maybe Guybrush's shoelaces are a different color.

Besides, It wouldn't hurt to have a separate download of the original for those with lower spec computers.
Does imuse work in MI:SE 2?

As far as I know iMuse CAN only work if there is a Midi-System active. I don't think the SE has separated tracks for the instruments. I think they blend in and out different sound tracks in the first town, not instruments. They try to emulate aht iMuse did back then (implementing that was also a lot of work for them).

Vastly reduced system requirements and the ability to run it on vintage systems.
ScummVM and DosBox compatibility vs a game that was made very recently and still won't reliably start on many computers today.

The original floppy version should be included with this as a goodie.
