ArthurWalden: When I first installed Secret of Monkey Island SE on my laptop, it ran in fullscreen mode for the whole game.

Then, I used the Task Manager to stop the game during the closing credits, and it shifted the game to windowed mode. Nothing I have been able to do has been able to return it permanently to fullscreen mode. I tried using Alt-Enter, but that created a mode with a huge black border around the game, which is not acceptable.

I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game several times, both offline and using GOG Galaxy. At first, it seems to work okay in fullscreen mode, but as soon as the screen saver takes over, it shifts back into windowed mode and I can't get it back to fullscreen no matter what I do.

Can someone help me get it permanently back to fullscreen mode?
