Guys, am I the only one getting a continuous high pitched beeping sound in the background specifically with this game?

And does anyone know how to remove it?

It is the first time it happens to me with a dosbox game.

If you mean a beepy squeaky sound like bad interference that comes in after a couple hours, then yeah same problem. No idea how to fix it though. All I can do is turn the sound off which I’d rather not.

It is the first time it happens to me with a dosbox game.
I had something similar then noticed that the Geiger counter in my inventory had somehow gotten turned on. I turned it off and it fixed the problem.

Thanks, ecamber! That fixed it for me, too. It was confusing because triggering another sound would temporarily cause it to stop, and then the whine would gradually fade back in. It didn't act at all like an "always-on" inventory item.
