I haven't been able to functionally play the Linux version at all. The game is freezing up after a few minutes of play time, or when I disable vsync. Disabliing vsync seems to be far worse. The game isn't the only thing freezing up, but my entire system needed to be rebooted.

I had to run the Windows version using Proton through Steam. So long as I don't mess with any frame rate settings, it's been fine so far. However, disabling vsync locked up my entire system again this way.

And both times I disabled vsync under both operating systems, the game at least claimed it was running at 5,000+ FPS
There appears to be a memory leak because I have the same issue. Eventually, the game takes up all system memory (you can check with command "top") before eventually crashing due to what is probably an "out of memory" error. I've tried disabling vsync and running in fullscreen (instead of windowed borderless) but the same issue still occurs.
I had a few segfaults as well when getting started, all within the menu while reading the manual or messing with settings. Once I finally got in game with my settings saved (by exiting before it crashed), I was good. Played about an hour with no crashes.

I don't know if this matters for stability, but I langed on , but I landed on fullcsreen off, window border and vsyng on, FPS at 120, and "fit" scale mode, with my window resized for a 10x scale on my 4k monitor. Seems to be solid now... though didn't make the best first impression.

Hi there, there is a new version available today which may hopefully address what you were experiencing when running the game on Linux.

Sorry for the trouble and hope you enjoy the game!
