I tried messing with various utilities but could not get mouse look to work on Might and Magic VII with the Greyface 2.0 and BDJ patches & ResTool installed.

How to get this working?

I only have Greyface and a little graphics mod, so YMMV.

In MM7.ini there should be a section with:
MouseLook=1
MouseSensitivityX=50
MouseSensitivityY=50
MouseSensitivityAltModeX=90
MouseSensitivityAltModeY=90
MouseLookChangeKey=4
MouseLookTempKey=0
CapsLockToggleMouseLook=1

Just make sure MouseLook is set to 1. I use the "CapsLockToggleMouseLook" too, since it's handy to have that available.

What graphics mod?

Did you need to install any registry altering files or use any other programs to enable mouse look?

Just some edited .BMP files, basically. Shouldn't make any difference.

No, the Greyface patch was all I needed to install. It worked after setting up the ini as specified, though I cannot recall if it needed to be toggled on the first time to get going (hit capslock). If you don't have those lines in the ini file, or it still will not work for you, maybe it would help to contact greyface or browse/post in the related thread at the celestialheavens forum.
