How to change display driver in game display settings ?

I had no issue so far on different computers, my PC have win 7 with dedicated graphic card and I was playing game couple days ago without any problems - after instaling all fixes obviously.

I boyght new laptop yesterday with WIN 10 and integrated graphic card, installed the game + all fixes and main screen is whole black,there is only game mouse, but no options, and when i push ESC button it shows me Quit game window normally.


I figured out that this is because of different display settings choosed in game.

On my PC WIN 7 I have a lot of options in MM9 display settings screen, I choosed DirecX or Direct3d and it works fine.
On my laptop WIN10 I have only 1 option - LilTech Direct 3D renderer (d3d.ren)

How to enable more display options in Windows 10 ?

If you are running the last version (21 august 2019) you´ll find that the game was updated with a wrapper to make the game more compatile with modern systems. the wrapper comes with a configurator called dxcfg.exe. run it from your game folder and change any options to fit your tastes or what should be needed to fit better your computer configuration.

This configurator is external at the rendering selection from the game itself. But for the record, the game only supported the software renderer and the d3d renderer since launch. Being the d3d option the more advanced and intended to run the game at full.
