How do you use identify monster? The game says "right click on creature", but when I do that I either initiate an attack or a spell. Anyone knows?

I've still never played 9. But you do right-click a monster for 6-8 to ID him.

You may be able to right click off of the monster and then drag it on to the creature you want to ID. It's an idea.

If I get a chance in the next few weeks, I'll see if I can install it and try it out. It's a game I've wanted to play around with for a while anyway.

You need to hold button "g" while having cursor over monster. Correct me if I am wrong, writing this from memory.
