Any one have trouble with Artifacts. I got two from the chest in the Cave in Ironsand. Neither work. One won't be identified: Noblebone (Bow, won't work and won't be identified by anyone; and the Angel Cape).
Thanks
A quick search online, and I found something that mentions a bug with the Noblebone Bow, where shops won't do anything with it. Try getting a Scholar NPC, or get someone with a lot of ID item.

What do you mean "it won't work"? If you equip it, is the character unable to fire arrows?
Likewise with Angel Cape, though I don't remember what that one is supposed to do.

Well, it seems to hurt some monsters with its explosive force. Others,. the weapon doesn't effect them (there is an explosion but no damage report at all. No arrow damage, no explosive damage. As if the monster was hit with nothing.)
Angel Cape increases some stats (which works) and gives you permanent "Feather Fall" which doesn't.
So it isn't that they don't work at all, but work intermittently.
I tired a good ID guy who says "You already know what it is" so he won't identify it. But it remains as unidentified.

Weird.

When you shoot a monster and it doesn't work, is the monster immune to fire? I'd guess the explosion damage is fire based. I never use it anyway because I don't want to worry about remembering to remove the bow if monsters get close-but-not-melee-range.

The feather fall might only be supposed to help the character wearing the cape, but I'd guess you'd notice if only person didn't flinch while the other 3 did.

I've had the Cape before and the Feather Fall is a group spell (it shows up on the skull in the upper corner). And the Bow's Arrow would cause damage even if the explosion didn't. But zip.
Thanks but I am going to try clearing the Knight bug as my last effort. Then raise the White Flag and my middle finger if it doesn't work. (BTB, the cape is called Archangel Wings)

I'm sorry it didn't work for you. Good luck with the Knights.
