I'm at the quest where I'm supposed to meet Archibald in castle Gloaming at the Pit, the problem is I can't enter the throne room even in the middle of the day. I have this same problem with all the shops in the Deyja area. Are there any unofficial patches that fix this? Thanks.

In the middle of the day? That might be the problem right there. Shops in Deyja Moors and the Pit have different opening hours from the rest of the game world. They're open in the night (7 p.m. to 7 a.m. or something like that).
