Hi there, I'm surprised there aren't many useful guides out there so I'm relying on you guys :D

I wanted to do like in MM6 where you could visit shrines all year round and get your stats up, but so far I have only found a couple of altars and magic lamps that work like in MM6.

Can anyone point me to a decent guide or explain to me an efficient way to raise my stats?.

Thanks in advance!.
There are still altars, but there are less of them (only 6). You can raise stats by genie lamps, which respawn with zone respawn, and you can use them to raise stats according to calendar time (each 4th week from January till July lamp gives the maximum boost to specific stat, which is different each month). There are still barrels and black potions, which you can randomly buy in shops (no need to have dedicated alchemist, just a bit of patience while reloading near magic shop). Black potions, while still being 1-time thing only, are MUCH more powerful than those in MM6.

you'll basically raise stats as you adventure, finding barrels, shrines, wells, etc. Black potions can be used 1 time for each stat per person, so each person can get +50 in each stat with potions.

The main way to get higher stats is for a higher level cleric to use spells to boost, especially if your following the path of light. Day of god spells and high light skill = major stats all the time. I guess you can waste a lot of time farming dungeons, castles, etc with barrels over time, but really not needed.

Once you get higher level ore, or can visit higher level shops you can save/reload to get equipment that will give +10 in every stat (god equipment) or +10 in all resists, those are the best items. I usually use my Erudine and Stalt ore until I get those items for my characters. Why get a +10 endurance, +10 accuracy ring when it won't take you much time to get +10 in all stats instead of just 2, or get +25 fire resist ring when you can get a ring with +10 in every resist.
Another easy way to boost stats is to repeatedly go into the wall of mist. There are a lot of barrels in one area that respawn every time that you leave and return. I'm pretty sure that the colour of the barrels are random, but if you did it enough times it should average out fairly evenly.

Point of order: "Day of the Gods" is a Light spell, so you HAVE to be following the path of light to cast it. And while the name of that particular spell may suggest otherwise, sorcerers can be just as skilled in it as clerics.

Or should I say, Archmages can cast it just as effectively as Priests of Light can.
