He's level 10 right now, and even after drinking a skill potion, only 2 attacks ??....
It's something like every 8 levels. So he gets two attacks at level 8, then three attacks at level 16. I think this info is in the manual somewhere.
Thanks.
I'm pretty sure the manual doesn't specify the actual levels.

UndeadHalfOrc: Thanks.

Could be, I don't remember. I definitely read somewhere what the actual levels are, but it may have been online. My memory is that it's every 8; I didn't get three attacks until the very end. In fact, it might not have been until after I officially finished the game.

I think the other classes (i.e. archer, paladin) are the same. Robbers never get extra attacks unfortunately, so they're not useful for much other than opening treasure chests and doors.

It's a good thing they got improved in MM2, from what I read.

Yeah robbers are better in MM2, and you can also replace them with Ninjas if you want a fighter/robber hybrid.
In addition to the extra attacks, what makes the robbers/ninjas even more powerful in MM2 is backstab/assasination. I'm still figuring out when exactly do these attack take place... are thy random?

They certainly seemed random to me. I viewed them as a random chance for critical damage. Also there is better equipment for robbers in MM2 that make them more viable. Of course, a robber or ninja is still essential in order to open treasure chests.
