Star_Sage: Having the same issue as described above. Some further oddities with mine, for instance, when I start the game, after the party creation, it sort of plays the movie with the missing contestants, but it doesn't fully remove the party creation screen. Checked this solution, found my value was already set to 1. Any other help?
djura: I've got the exact same problem as described by Star_Sage in win XP running on Parallels Desktop.
edit: just fixed it - go to the install folder, run "MM7Setup" and choose "Software 3D" instead of "Hardware Accelerated 3D". Disabling hardware acceleration was mentioned in a few other posts, but i didn't understand that it should be done in the config utility. Hope this helps!
Sadly, was already selected, and still no diff. Not that it matters that much. Already beat the game. Not my best tim, but still, only 2 years in game to finish it all.
