This is a bit of an odd question I'm sure but does anyone know of a way to get the sound effect files from the might and magic games? The one from 6 would be preferable, I like to make maps in WC3 and just thought it would be nice to sue some of the sound effects from the games in my map. I've tried searching for a database with the in game sound effects but I have had no luck as of yet :/

It's a long time since I've tried this, but I could give some pointers in the right direction.

For 6/7/8 you probably want to extract them from the game archives using a tool like this:

For the Xeen games (4 and 5) I think it's possible too, using a different tool:
