Does anyone know if Might and Magic 6 works on a Windows 10 installed via Parallels 16 virtual machine on an iMac running Mac OS Catalina 15.6?

If yes, does it need some patches to run or to better perform (not crash)?

While I have no idea about how MM6 will run on your setup, if you haven't heard of the GrayFace Might and Magic Patches, I recommend looking at it.

He's done quite a bit of work for Might and Magic 6,7,8. Fixing bugs and in MM6 case, allowing the engine to run in a higher color mode. All of his changes for MM6 can enabled or disabled through the mm6.ini and can be found in the MM6Patch ReadMe.txt
