I started playing m&m6 I just found out the patch awesome also all my computers run on win 7 as I play lot of older games and have no problems

Are the "HD" graphics available somewhere for MM6? They link on GrayFace site is dead.

After Installing the chooseparty to test it (before continuing my main game to the temple on DWI) i was getting a CTD when i was trying to use the boat

If you want to use the chooseparty, uninstall it after creating the group

Thanks to this post, i know that i just have to rename instead of locating which file to delete (I still don't know)

Did you look further down the page? There's another option named "Resolution Mod for MM6". It's a link to another site:

However, be sure to read the paragraph before the link on the "GrayFace Homepage". Here it is for convenient reference:
Mods by Angel Death that make the game scale in windowed mode to the desired resolution.
To use them with my patch, create ExeMods subfolder inside the game folder and put the DLL there.
There is a similar message of instructions in two languages with the file, but not as elaborate.

Admittedly, that's likely not going to improve the appearance, but instead provide a resizable window to fit the whole screen.

I haven't gotten around to trying this myself…

Tried GreyFace's MM7 patch, it didn't work. Maybe I didn't install it properly, but there were literally no instructions on how to install it. I pointed it to the GOG's MM7 installation folder, and afterwards the game just started in a 640x480 window and none of the supposed new features present. Glad I backed up the original installation folder first.

kevinem2: I bought MM7 and MM8 from GOG. Both games crash all the time every time I try to save them or move to different areas. I own and played the original discs when the game came out, but windows 7 won't let me run them; that's why I bought the Gog updated games. Is there any way to keep my new games from crashing?
Having same problem when move to different areas. Tried greyface patch but didn't make anything better. Kind of sucks.

I am playing Might and Magic 6 and some things don't seem to work in this version. Usually I can kill the golden and blue dragons very easily and get great items but that doesn't work anymore. Also, in Castle Kriegspire, I cannot open the last door to finish the task. Anybody has any tips why that's happening? I don't even know if I am the only person on this planet still playing it or not xD

When I click the link for the MM6 controls mod, I get an otherwise blank page with what's in the attached image. Is this normal? Something about it raises a red flag in my mind.
