You use DOSBox, so Windows version shouldn't matter.

You're talking about a CD version that you have, right?

If you go to DOSBox config, at the bottom under [autoexec] you can add commands that will run automatically every time you start DOSBox.
So for example you can have:

[autoexec]
# Lines in this section will be run at startup.
# You can put your MOUNT lines here.

mount c c:\games\mm1
c:
mm1.exe

If you're talking about the GOG version of the games, then all the automation has been set up already. Just run the shortcut.

You can also use D-Fend Reloaded. It makes using DOSBox easier to use, and to configure the games, especially if it's a non-GOG game. As mentioned above GOG games are pre-configured, so it's rarely any hassle. GOG's version usually have too low CPU cycles for my taste, and don't use the correct aspect ratio options, but they do run without problems.

What text code do you mean? Are you referring to how some games have in-game copy protection in the form of Question/Answer challenges? GOG has disabled these or, where that is not practical, included as a supplementary goody a PDF showing all the questions and answers, so you don't need to flip through the manual to find the answers.
