I was wondering if I had a spell regen ring and a spell regen armor, would I get a faster regen rate?
No, they don't stack (neither spell points regen, nor hit points regen).
Thanks. I remember some of this discussion way back when MM 6 or 7 or 8 came out and there was some discussion that involved some kind of arithmetic formula that showed they did stack when mixed (ring with clothing) but only up to a certain level. But those brain cells have been cooked a long time ago so maybe I'm miss-remembering.

As far as my current play through, I was going through Varn this evening and my paladin was all busted up. I sent everything to my repair guy and when I re-equipped it turned out I had Health Reg Ring and Armor and Amulet and a regen shield. All this time I was thinking he always kept his health up due to High Armor rating. But as I re-equip him with only one regen item, I wonder if I'll see a difference.

It could be the case with MM 8, as it had some changes with regen mechanics and even had Regeneration skill (if I am not wrong - only Trolls had it, it was providing natural HP Regen, and I think it was a bit bugged).

In your case you also probably had weapon with "of Vampiric" effect, which is a good weapon if you aim for efficiency.

ah ha. I did have the Mordric (?) dagger, so that probably explains it. Thanks
