So I'm playing with an actual Roland MT-32 I just bought because I got tired of emulated version sounding like butt.
MT-32 is in Xeen's setup utility, and it definitely works... but when I walk, there's a "beep-boop-beep-boop-beep-boop" sound that plays, which is a telltale sign that the program thinks its playing some kind of footstep sound. Only, it isn't.
Does anyone play this game with the MT-32 and have better results? Maybe I'm not doing this right.
By comparison, Ultima Underworld played its footstep sounds properly where it would otherwise play a piano sound if not done properly, so I know sample-uploading isn't horked on my MT-32.
