Here is an alternate way of boosting stats in Might and Magic 2. This can boost resistances and AC, but not Vitality.

First, you need to find a suitable item. This item must boost a stat when equipped, and it must do something when used. (It also needs to be something you can use up and have it break; in DOS MM2, I *think* the item has to be usable during combat, but I could have it mixed up.)

Now, prepare the item. Use all but one charge (or just cast Uncurse Item), enchant it to increase the bonus, and duplicate it so you can keep doing so.

Once the item has been prepared, equip it. This will give you a stat boost. Now use it up. The item will be broken, but you will still keep the stat boost. When you unequip the item, you *will not lose the stat bonus*. This means you can now get your AC to 255 without equipment and can easily boost many of your other stats to high levels.

One thing I am wondering: is it possible to do this in Might and Magic 1, and if so, does it actually work?
Don't think MM1 has an enchant item spell so even if it does work it'll be much slower!
