I just installed this game today, and there seems to be a lot of sound effects that are either missing or not working. Examples include (spoiler warnings):

• The sound of Michael's mech landing in the opening scene is missing
• The missing sound of Air Force One hitting the Lincoln Memorial
• The first fight scene with Richard and Michael halfway into the game is missing many important sound effects to that scene
• Various scenes where Michael is opening/closing his backpack and there are not sounds being made when he also switches through his weapons in cutscenes
• The spider mech charging its phaser cannon and other related SFX missing

I've also seen some building textures are clipping/flickering in some cutscenes in some of the early parts of the game as well, along with a skybox error where the crater made from explosives are shown in the skybox. Can you guys please look into these problems? Also, the game's icon isn't shown on the game's window or on the Windows taskbar.

PC Specs:

• OS: Windows 10 Home, 64-bit
• GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750
• CPU: AMD FX-4350
• RAM: 8GB DDR3

Something else I forgot to mention that the GOG overlay doesn't work either.
Yeah, the lack of a sound effect for the entire arsenal opening and closing during cutscenes was really noticeable. I had to go and double check the original release of the game on youtube to make sure I wasn't crazy.

OH I'm not the only one, then! I hope they will fix this along the rest of things.
We are investigating the issue. Thanks for reporting.

Same thing. Also some of the voice lines in cutscenes are interrupted.
In regards to sounds--in the opening cutscene, the audio seems to fall out of sync with the video as it progresses.
Some of the in-game sound effects to be off synch too during gameplay, like the timing with Metal Wolf performing boosts and air stomps.

I found a temporary fix for the problem with out of sync audio during cinematics. You can use the software BES - Battle Encoder Shirase, to limit the CPU usage of the game's executable, wilson.exe. I'm no programmer, so I have no explanation of why it helps, but for some reason it does. In the PC port of Yakuza 0 a lot of people had problems with long random freezes, and since BES helped me with those, I decided to try it with Metal Wolf Chaos as well. I've played for a bit now, and the opening cinematic and the first couple of news reports have been perfectly in sync.

You don't need to limit it much. Setting it too high will of course impact performance. 1% or 2% is enough, with a Target Sleep/Awake Cycle of 40ms.

Has anyone noticed the "You Sank My Battleship" achievement not working? I shot the battlecruiser with exactly 3 shots with Richard's sniper cannon and I didn't get the achievement at all. I've also seen some gameplay of the original Xbox version where you don't die in one hit for getting close to Richard's mechas (his Mobile Armor or his Ultimate Weapon).

Were you able to resolve this? I don't remember now which weapon I've used (mind you even suggesting me all possible options for achieving this?), but thhe achievement never registered. :/

I got it managed to recently (with an accompanying GOG Galaxy Achievement notification), try using the Vice President sniper cannon and shoot down the three TARGET areas of the ship and see if that works.

Oh okay, thanks.
Out of curiosity since you said it: was the achievement notification just pure luck? I stil cannot see any other since the first one I got when starting the game. But considering that the game has not received any other update since the first two, I'm not holding my breath anymore...

I'm guessing it was pure luck or may something the current release may have fixed that I was able to see the achievement notification when playing the game via GOG Galaxy a few nights ago when I got the achievement. The other achievements didn't give me a notification prior to v1.02.2 but I was still able to unlock them either way when played through GOG Galaxy.
