whatsnottaken: Why not? Plenty of games previously only on PS2 have been ported onto PC, mostly into Steam of course, but if they see it will be profitable I have to think it's worth their time. I would absolutely buy the entire SIlent Hill series again the moment I saw it available, just like I did with all the Konami games just released here.
ZedHqX4: Cause there is no PC source, and most likely there is no source code available for the game, so it would have to be remade, which wouldnt be exactly as the original.There is no way to do it without reverse enginering
or plain simple emulation. Looking as a PS1 game, there is little financial incentive to pour the resources into developing a port on these days.
Actually, this isn't as crazy as it sounds. After all, when GOG sells you a game running on DOSbox, they're selling you an emulator with the game. So selling SNES/PSX games with an embedded emulator isn't so far fetched.
