Hi all,

It's been a looong time since I played a base-building RTS of any kind. But I'm curious about this one here.

Could someone who is better versed into the genre maybe explain what the difference between this title and AoS would be? AoS seems more grand scale, this one more about managing small unit blocks?
Its more like a C&C, Starcraft like game while Ashes is a mix of Company of Heroes, Sins of a Solar Empire and a bit of Supreme Commander. You control smaller unit numbers but gameplay is very much like Starcraft based on Meridian: New World I own.

It depends what playstyle you like.
They are very different games.

Merirdian is more like Starcraft with a dash of Command and Conquer added to the mix.

Ashes of the Singularity is pretty much Supreme Commander/Total Annihilation on a larger scale.
