Hello everyone,

This was one of my favorite games back in the day. I still have the CD-ROM of the base game but never got to play the expansions. I just bought the GOG version because I figured it would be optimized for Windows 10 and with the expansions it would be worth it.

I am not the most tech.mod savvy person out there. Is there anything I need to know about getting into games on Gameranger. What mods do I need or are recommended to play? Is possible to play on Game Ranger without mods as well?

GameRanger, apart from being a bad service, doesn't host many MoH:AA servers.

MoH Reborn does, though, and after you follow their instructions, you'll be able to join servers from the ingame menus just like before the GameSpy shutdown. It supports both expansions, and as for mods... you'll have to create a server of your own and make sure your friends also have the exact same version of the exact same mod installed.

Thanks for the pointer. So after I click how to switch, I click Allied Assault 1.11>1,Full>2,Universal Patcher>3 Instructions?

I am not sure what I would need the Breakthrough 2.30 or Spearhead 2.15 for.

For 1, you only need the Players bit if you don't want to host your own servers.

Those are the expansions, and they're included in the War Chest edition here on GOG.

The game is supported by GameRanger. A program which allows you to host and join servers for many games.
