I was hoping there would be some way to run this game on a laptop with an integrated card so far I have not had any luck getting MOHAA to stop crashing.

As far as I'm aware you won't get it working. Hopefully I am wrong.

I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten the game to run on a laptop with an integrated card. I would love to get the game while it's on sale this weekend, but I'm hesitant to buy without confirming that it would work on my laptop. If it doesn't run, then I'm wondering why it wouldn't... I have an i3 processor with Intel HD Graphics -- not very good, I know, but if I can run Crysis -- albeit on the lowest settings and resolution -- then I should be able to run this game.

Anyone in this situation get it to run?

It's just never that simple.

Oh I know. That's why I always check out forums before I buy a game to look for issues like this. I'm just wondering if anyone with an Intel integrated graphics card has gotten the game to run. Just because it's officially not supported doesn't mean that it won't work... but it's better to ask before buying.

Well it hasnt worked on all my laptops in the past 10 years...
Hi,
I saw this topic and decided to try and launch the game on my laptop(which has an Intel HD 3000 graphics card).
The game didn't run out of the box, but I managed to get it working thanks to a post in the Intels's forums. The in-game menus were a bit corrupted though.

That's what the post said:

-had to upgrade to latest drivers (15.28.12.64.2932)

-place a opengl32.dll in main ( search for How to fix mohaa windows 7 crash on startup on YouTube).

-run mohaa.exe as admin with xp-sp3 compatibility (not sure if this step is needed).

I hope this helps.

Thanks! I did some digging of my own and came across the same fix -- it seems to work for most people with Intel HD Graphics cards, although not all. I downloaded the demo for Allied Assault, which crashed the first time I tried to run it... but it worked just fine with the added opengl32.dll file. Awesome!
I have an Intel HD 4000 graphics card and did something similar to splamenov's post and it worked.
I had to install directX files from 2010 too, though.
Hope this helps:
I have Intel HD 4000 Graphics (integrated Intel i5) and it crashed for me.
This fix worked for me:

Download these opengl fixes: sourceforge.net/projects/gldirect/files/

To install, copy bin/release/opengl32.dll from the download to the MOHAA folder (NOT MAIN).

Run MOHAA.

This forum won't let me post links!

Big thanks! I thought I'd never get to play this but your fix worked.
