Most likely not, as it would take much more than a "patch", but a "full scale mod".

There was crack for MOO1 that allowed you to change races in the game. You would have to save , crack it, and reload it. The game would play the other races until it came to the race you had chosen. Was able to play a very awkward, inefficient Hotseat style of MP with a friend. Would have to play my race. Save the game. Exit the game. Use the hack to set my friend's race as the player's. Start the game and load it. Then my friend played, saved, and then quit the game. Then run the hack to reset the race again. Was a lot of trouble to do.
